As a member of Art Storefronts, you may find it necessary to set up taxes when a customer purchases from you. For information regarding what your tax laws and regulations are you will need to reach out to a CPA in your area or the local tax office. Art Storefronts employees will not be able to assist you with understanding your tax laws or knowing which laws apply to you.
The first option that any user on the Art Storefronts platform can look at is setting up taxes for an entire country. This may prove useful if you live in a country that requires taxes for any state or province in that country.
ASF also allows you the ability to set up tax labels for specific countries. These are sometimes called VAT. |

The next option for taxes is to set them up on a State by state or province by province basis. This will much likely be more common for users in the United States and Canada. |

Finally, you do have the option to set your customers to be Tax Exempt. This comes in handy if customers are purchasing for non-profit organizations or other reasons. |
Once you've set up your taxes you may want to move on to working on your shipping methods. If you'd like to learn more about shipping, please take a look at our article [Master Article] [For Everyone] How To: Set Up Shipping.
