How To: Use Price Rounding

Follow

The ability to round prices has become increasingly important to artists marketing their Art Storefronts sites. It allows them to make their pricing more uniform and easier to work with. Because of this, Art Storefronts has taken the opportunity to create a feature to round prices in several different ways.

  1. Make sure you are logged in to your Art Storefronts Control Panel. This is sometimes called the back-end of the site or the Site Manager. These all mean the same thing. When you’re sure you’re logged in, click on the tab labeled SITE SETTINGS.

  2. Make sure you’re on the INFO tab on the new page. If you don’t make sure you’re on the right tab, you will not see the information covered here, and you won’t complete the process.

  3. Scroll down the page until you see the section labeled Round Prices To, and from the menu, select your preferred option. Your prices with a decimal greater than .50 will round up to the chosen number, and (2) the prices below .50 will be rounded to the nearest dollar, and (3) the prices equal to .50 will remain unchanged.
