How to Set Up an About The Artist Page

The About The Artist page is one of the most important pages on your site. It’s where potential customers go to learn about who you are, what inspires you, and where you’re looking to go next. If done right, the About page can be one of the main vehicles for building trust and connecting with your audience, as well as a key to convert visitors into subscribers.

  1. Log in to your Art Storefronts Site Manager and click on the button labeled About the Artist.

  2. Click on the tab labeled CONTENT

  3. The CONTENT tab allows you to choose how to edit the content using either of the two ways below:
Standard Editor - is similar to using a tool like Microsoft Word to add content to your page. To learn how to use this, see How To: Use the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Editor
    On-Site Content Builder
    - is a visual builder that allows you to edit all the content on a page dynamically. You can use it while previewing your site.

  4. By default, the On-Site Content Builder is selected. Click the link which loads the Builder UI for this page. (You can also access this by clicking on the Preview Site button at the bottom of the Site Manager window while you are on this page)

What do I do next?

Any work you do on this page will be made in the On-Site Content Builder, and not in the Site Manager. Follow the steps in this article on how to use the On-Site Content Builder.
